Stan Falkenhagen

Investment Professional

“My clients call me because I don't give them spin. Some call me every day. They know I stay up-to-date on what might affect them in the market on a global level. My clients know I am not afraid to tell it like it is."

As an investment professional, Stan is very passionate about what he does and the clients he advises. With enough credits for degrees in both accounting and finance, Stan chose to graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a degree in finance. He started out in accounting, but soon realized that being stuck in a cubicle with no human interaction was not for him. His love of people led him to become a broker and start his own investment firm in 1987.

Stan researches his industry from a global perspective anywhere from two to four hours a day and has a bank of advisors and consultants whom he relies upon for further insight. He has found those that are well-regarded and consistent from around the world and when they all start saying the same thing - he listens. He knows what is happening not just on Wall Street, but in Peru and Bolivia and which companies are politically stable and which are not.

When Stan is talking with clients, his intention is to make sure the client understands the risks and the rewards of their investments. He is also able to advise them from a tax implications perspective because of his accounting background.

It isn't all about the numbers for Stan. It is about allowing his clients to wind down their life and leave the legacy they intended. It is about having their families understand what is important to them and their role in preserving those values.

When Stan isn't busy talking to his clients and consultants and running the numbers, he spends time with his wife and four children. He is the master bedtime storyteller, making up stories as he goes, and relishes his role as husband and father. He is also active in his church community.
